What does AI Broker Solutions do?
AI Broker Solutions Ltd develops software for broker businesses. Our products support the practical work behind a client case, helping advisers and administrators work with clearer information and more consistent processes.
What is Broker Ledger?
Broker Ledger is our Windows desktop software for reviewing bank statements and preparing expenditure reports. Add a client’s statements, check the suggested categories and any flagged payments, then review and export the report.
How much does Broker Ledger cost?
Broker Ledger costs £39.99 per month per ICO registration, with up to five admin staff included at no additional cost. Broker networks should contact us for bespoke pricing based on size.
What do you mean by an ICO licence?
Our subscription is linked to the business covered by an ICO registration, often described as an “ICO licence”. This is our commercial pricing unit. It is not a software licence issued by the ICO, an ICO approval or a substitute for your own data protection responsibilities.
Are the five admin staff included in the price?
Yes. Up to five admin staff working within the licensed business are included in the £39.99 monthly price. Contact us if you need more staff access or cover several businesses or ICO registrations.
Can I try it before subscribing?
Contact us for a demonstration and to arrange evaluation access. We will explain the available release, access arrangements and subscription terms before you commit.
Which files can I use?
Broker Ledger supports PDF, CSV and XLSX bank statements. The quality of the source file and the bank’s format affect extraction. Check imported dates, amounts and account coverage against the originals; contact support if a format is not read correctly.
Does Broker Ledger work on a Mac or in a browser?
Broker Ledger is a Windows desktop application. The interactive preview on this website demonstrates the workflow; it does not process statements. There is no Mac or browser edition advertised here.
Do my client’s bank statements leave my computer?
The desktop workflow reads source statements and produces reports locally. Screened descriptions can be sent to an external AI service for categorisation. Account, licensing and shared merchant-category services also involve online processing. Read our data and security explanation before using the software with client data.
Is screened or de-identified data completely anonymous?
Not necessarily. Removing names and account details reduces the information sent, but a description can still identify a person in context. We treat screening as a safeguard, not a guarantee of anonymity. Your business should assess the processing and put the appropriate arrangements in place.
Does the AI calculate the figures or make lending decisions?
AI helps suggest categories. The software calculates the report totals from the recorded transactions. You review the source evidence, classifications and report. Broker Ledger does not approve a mortgage, provide regulated advice or replace lender criteria.
What do the flags mean?
Flags draw attention to payments that may need discussion, including gambling and high-cost short-term credit. They are separate from expenditure categories. A flag does not establish financial difficulty, a health condition or vulnerability; the adviser must consider the client’s circumstances.
Can my team share merchant categories?
Company category sharing allows confirmed merchant choices to be reused within the licensed business. Conflicting choices can be reviewed. Client-specific exceptions remain separate. Shared category decisions are not a shared database of client statements.
Will lenders accept every report?
No software provider can guarantee acceptance by every lender. Broker Ledger helps organise evidence for your case file. Check the lender’s current requirements and verify the report before submitting it.
How do updates work?
The desktop app checks for updates after sign-in and during use. Follow the update prompt when it is a suitable time to restart. Test releases and standard releases may differ; use the release channel agreed with your business.
What happens to existing subscriptions?
Existing customers remain on their agreed subscription terms unless a change is separately agreed or notified under that contract. The new advertised price does not itself alter an existing billing arrangement.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Email [email protected] from your account contact address. We will confirm the renewal date and the cancellation or change arrangements under your subscription agreement.
Can I send a bank statement to support?
Please start with the app version, a description of the issue and a redacted screenshot or fictional example. Do not send client statements, passwords, licence keys or sensitive information through the public contact form. We can agree an appropriate support route if more information is necessary.
